Field Organizers- Vermont

The Vermont Democratic Coordinated Campaign is hiring field organizers to elect Democrats up and down the ticket in November. Field organizers report directly to Organizing Director.

 

Tasks and Duties:

Recruit, train and manage interns and volunteers

Plan and manage phone banks and canvasses

Knock on doors and make phone calls

Amplify message, recruit volunteers and create online communities using social media platforms

Track all volunteer outreach and engagement in VAN daily   

Required Skills & Background

• Experience working with strict deadlines and goals

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment

• Must have access to a vehicle, a cellphone and a laptop

• Commitment to electing all Democrats on the ballot

Preferred Background & Experience

• Previous campaign experience

• Proficiency with Votebuilder/VAN

• Vermont ties
