From stopping oil companies from polluting our water to fighting for
campaign finance reform to protecting unions, you'll work with field
staff to organize around the top issues of the day and plan trainings
that empower grassroots activists across the country. Field organizing
interns are part of a dynamic team responsible for organizing and
executing Democracy for America’s national training programs,
mobilizing DFA members and coordinating national actions.
DFA’s field organizing interns arrange on-the-ground trainings and
events and collaborate with the online progressive community. You will
have the opportunity to research pressing local issues, help
coordinate progressive events, and organize DFA's one million members
(and counting!) through local emails. Your work empowers the next
generation of activists, shapes the hot-button issues of the day and
influences the top tier campaigns.
To apply for a Democracy for America internship, please send a cover
letter and resume to Operations Manager Tegan Rymer at
opera...@democracyforamerica.com.
Democracy for America accepts applications on a rolling basis.
