Top Tier Incumbent Democrat in Northern Virginia is seeking to hire a Full-Time Field Organizer for a highly competitive race.

Responsibilities:

·Identify, recruit, and train groups of volunteers to build a volunteer base to strengthen the campaign’s organization throughout the district and meet the goals outlined by the Campaign Manager.

·Provide volunteers with the positive leadership, culture, resources, and guidance required to succeed during each phase of the campaign.

·Ensure the accurate and reliable entry of data throughout the campaign.

·Provide the Campaign Manager with quantitative and qualitative reports as part of an ongoing evaluation of the program’s success.

·Ideally this position will grow into a lead organizer role as additional field staff is brought on.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Demonstrated interest and commitment to Democratic candidates with one cycle of previous field experience strongly preferred, but not mandatory.

· Knowledge of Google Docs, basic computer literacy, a reliable laptop, smartphone, and vehicle required. Votebuilder/VAN proficiency is also preferred.

·Strong communication and organizational skills.

·Ability to work long, irregular hours as well as weekends in a fast-paced, metrics-driven work environment.

·Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

·Winning mentality and a driven personality.
