Finance Director, Progressive Ballot Measure, Denver, Colorado

A progressive ballot measure campaign in Denver, Colorado is seeking a Finance Director through the November 6, 2018 election. The Finance Director will work closely with the Campaign Manager, Principals, consultants, compliance personnel and other senior staff to implement a winning finance plan. 

Job Description:

• Implement finance plan which includes call time, major donor meetings and events
  
• Manage principal’s call time
  
• Manage finance staff and volunteers
  
• Coordinate fundraising events including organizing and staffing
  
• Research and follow leads on new donors
  
• Manage relationships with current donors and prospects
  
• Coordinate with supporting groups and their external fundraising efforts
  
• Coordinate with compliance team to ensure proper record-keeping

Preferred qualifications

• At least one cycle of campaign finance experience
  
• Experience managing call time
  
• Experience planning and executing fundraising events
  
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends, including some potential travel
  
• Experience with fundraising where there are no contribution limits (issue campaign, non-profit, charity) not required, but preferred
  
• Strong understanding of, and experience with, Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
  
• Experience with NGP, VAN (or Everyaction)
  
• Strong organizational skills
