Political Director

Zach Iscol is seeking an experienced Political Director to join his team of top-notch talent. The position will offer competitive salary and benefits package. This is a full-time, exempt position that requires non-traditional hours including nights and weekends. This position is based in New York City, but staff will be teleworking to comply with the CDC Guidelines due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Responsibilities
· Manage all aspects of the political outreach and engagement for the campaign
· Cultivate and enhance current political relationships throughout the New York City community
· Oversee and track the endorsement program
· Assist the candidate in political questionnaires
Experience and Skills
· NYC political experience required
· At least 2 cycles of political and/or campaign experience
· Experience working directly with elected officials and coaching principals
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Willingness to work long and non-traditional hours to attend evening and weekend events and meet deadlines
· Proficient in Google Suite
Salary
$6000 to $8000 a month based on experience
