Major Company seeks Field Organizers in California

Field Organizers will be responsible for recruiting, managing and coordinating supporters and volunteers, and will serve as the face of the campaign in the local community. Field Organizers will be assigned to specific geographical areas where they will manage volunteer recruitment and constituency outreach programs, and will bear primary responsibility for execution of the field plan. 

Responsibilities: 

• Recruit local volunteers to join the campaign and take action
• Building a network of supporters in the local business community
• Collecting and entering campaign data on a daily basis
• Organizing events such as neighborhood meetings
• Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers to take leadership roles in a lasting, volunteer driven grassroots organization

Qualifications: 

• We're seeking smart, creative candidates who are passionate about organizing. 
• A relevant degree or experience with community and/or political organizing is helpful but not required. 
• Field Organizers must be motivated, flexible, personable, and comfortable talking to people face-to-face and over the phone.
