Campaign Manager Job Description
Our team is looking for a Campaign Manager to plan, coordinate, implement and oversee a progressive campaign for a Board of County Supervisors Seat (the Occoquan District) in Prince William County. As we are in a Democratic Primary with a June 11th Election Day, we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, help us coordinate the calendar of the candidate (that's me) and work with campaign staff, consultants, and volunteers to ensure an efficient operation.
Campaign Manager Responsibilities:
- - Refine and execute our campaign plan to ensure maximum volunteer recruitment, fundraising, and voter outreach efforts.
- - Coordinate with finance staff to achieve fundraising goals and efficient campaign funds management.
- - Ensure execution of our field plan to build consistent and efficient voter contact at the doors, at events, over the phone, and online.
- - Assist with press statements, releases, candidate questionnaires, and other paperwork.
- - Assist in powermapping, relationship building and leveraging the resources and connections of the campaign and candidate.
Campaign Manager Requirements:
- - Experience in working on campaigns (some field and finance experience preferred)
- - Excellent time management and calendar management skills
- - Flexible hours to accommodate campaign-style work hours (especially during the last few weeks before the election)
- - Transportation (must have a car)
- - Reside in the DMV region, or be willing to relocate to the district (supporter housing is available)
- - The drive to flip a seat which was once held by Corey Stewart.
