Description

The Finance Assistant will work closely with the campaign’s Finance Director and Deputy Finance Director in implementing the finance plan for the 2018 cycle. Specifically, this position closely manages call time with the candidate and promoting the campaign’s finance-related events.


Sample duties
Work with Deputy Finance Director in managing campaigns interns’ schedules and work flow.
Oversee aspects of call time program (e.g. staff call time, perform appropriate follow up, track call time data)
Promote campaign fundraising events and closely track event attendance.
Identify and research new donor prospects.
Staff candidate at in-state fundraisers and events, as necessary.
Ensure timely donor acknowledgements.

Qualifications
Must be willing to relocate to the Phoenix, Arizona area.
Bachelor's Degree or equitable experience in applicable field required.
At least one cycle of campaign experience required.
Excellent written and oral communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Excel and Word; experience using NGP/VAN preferred.
High attention to detail.
Team player.
