Red-to-Blue Northern California Congressional Campaign seeks Deputy Finance Director

Northern California Red-to-Blue DCCC targeted seat is seeking a Deputy Finance Director to join his fast-paced congressional campaign. 

 

The projected start date would start now or by early February at the latest. There is potential for the chosen candidate to advance to Finance Director in the coming months.

What you will be responsible for:

• Manage and staff call time with candidate
  
• Coordinate with CM on setting up high and low dollar fundraising events
  
• Process contributions
  
• Update budget plan from CM
  
• Meet and/or exceed fundraising goals set by CM
  
• Manage volunteers and oversee assigned projects
  
• Identify new donors
  
• Staff the candidate at events
  
• Attend events and meetings in the candidate’s absence

What we’re looking for:

• At least one cycle of campaign fundraising as a finance assistant or finance director
  
• Knowledge and experience using NGP
  
• Experience in targeting call-sheets
  
• Prior experience staffing call time is preferred but not required
  
• Must be willing to work long hours, as needed
  
• Team-oriented leader who can take direction 
  
• Eager to learn
  
• Can-do attitude
  
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license 
  
• Ties to California preferred but not required
