Finance Aide Job Posting

High profile congressional campaign in the California Bay Area seeks a talented, hard working Finance Aide to join the campaign. This race will be watched closely - both nationally and in CA.  If all goes well, the Finance Aide position will lead to a role as Deputy Finance Director.

The Finance Aide will be responsible for playing a role in almost all aspects of fundraising.

Responsibilities include:

• Research prospective donors

• Assist with managing call time with candidate and/or surrogates

• Research prospects and develop call sheets for the candidate

• Record daily call time metrics and report those to the Finance team and Campaign Manager

• Conduct pledge follow-up with donors and track outstanding pledges

• Process contributions and make daily deposits of contributions

• Working with Finance team to build fundraising events.

• Other duties as assigned from the Finance Director or Campaign Manager

Qualifications/Skills Needed:

• Self Starter

• Work campaign hours and an irregular schedule

• Willingness to learn new systems

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs and NGP

• Good writing skills

• Energetic Personality

• Applicants should have access to transportation and a working laptop.

• Prior campaign experience preferred
