Seeking Experienced Campaign Finance Director

Position to be filled beginning of July

Salary dependent upon experience

 

Job Description:

 

Must be an experienced, self-starting staffer who will develop, coordinate, and execute an aggressive fundraising plan.

 

Duties include:

• Preparing for and staffing the candidate during daily call time

• Conducting pledge follow ups

• Acting as liaison between the candidate and donor community

• Oversee donor prospecting and research

• Coordinating with Campaign Manager to execute the finance plan

• Planning, recruiting for, and executing both high and low dollar fundraising events

• Oversee online (email, social media, etc) fundraising efforts

• Maintaining donor database (data entry, hygiene, etc)

 

Applicants must have:

• at least one cycle of finance experience

• excellent written communication skills

• the ability to work long hours and weekends--campaign hours

• the ability to relocate to Virginia for the remainder of the campaign

• a valid driver’s license and own or lease a reliable vehicle

Preferred applicants will have:

• two or more cycles of finance experience

• working knowledge of NGP

• the ability to prioritize many competing projects

• an inner locus of control and a no-complaints attitude

• an appreciation for cute babies and labradoodles
