NVM is hiring Regional Field Directors for our Voter Registration campaign, which will use evidence-based approaches to engage potential voters. The RFD is responsible for managing a paid and volunteer voter outreach program with the goal of registering more than 30,000 people in the selected city/county.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of one-year experience in field organizing or electoral organizing. S/he must have strong leadership skills, the ability to manage a large staff of Organizers. S/he must also a self-starter, highly organized and detail-oriented. The RFD is also responsible for training Organizers to do their work effectively while holding them accountable to high performance standards.
Mandatory Qualifications Include:
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work irregular and long hours
• Knowledge and experience using the VAN
• Self- motivated and able to work independently
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
