Job Description: Campaign Manager

 

The Colorado Democratic Senate Campaign Fund (DSCF) seeks resumes for a campaign manager for a top-tier flip opportunity. This race could determine control of the Colorado State Senate.  

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

Campaign Plan: Draft and implement a winning campaign plan that outlines the campaign’s efforts through election day, including fundraising, canvassing, volunteer recruitment, district outreach, coalition building, and local media relations.

 

Fundraising Plan: Draft and implement a fundraising plan for a $200,000 to $300,000 campaign budget that relies on direct mail solicitations, call-time, and fundraising events. Staff the candidate during call-time and events.

 

Field Planning and Execution: Draft and implement a field plan that involves candidate, volunteer, and campaign staff canvassing, community outreach, phone-banking, creative field tactics, volunteer recruitment and ID collection.

 

Communications: Develop and implement a communications plan, to include paid media (mail plan, digital outreach) and earned media. Serve as the campaign contact for local and statewide media. Maintain the campaign’s website and social media outlets.

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Be a team player with exceptional attention to detail and calm under pressure.
  • Be willing to work long and irregular hours.
  • Take ownership of every situation, and solve problems at every turn.
  • Prior campaign experience is a necessity.
  • Must have a car and be willing to drive and relocate if necessary.
  • Communications experience is a plus!

 

Salary:

·       Commensurate with experience.

·       $3,000 - $4,000 per month.
