Premier Bay Area based political consulting firm seeks Social Media Manager to create content and engage voters across a variety of online platforms for 2015 San Francisco ballot measure campaign.

 

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for preparing, and executing digital content on social, email, and other online media platforms. The Social Media Manager will report directly to the Digital Director.

 

Key Responsibilities

·        Plan and run organic social media programs for campaign; producing consistent reporting documents and implementing data-driven content strategies.

·        Produce written, image and video content for social distribution across a variety of online platforms

·        Play a role in the research and development of digital plans to pitch to senior campaign staff

·        Conduct ongoing analysis, reviews, and reports on the effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.

 

Required Qualifications:

·        BA / BS Degree

·        1-2 years experience running social media and email programs for political campaigns, or other advocacy organizations.

·        Proficiency in design and editing software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut, Adobe Premiere, etc)

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.

·        Understanding of electoral/advocacy tools and integration with other social platforms for online organizing activities

·        Knowledge of HTML (no coding expertise necessary)

·        Motivated, goal-oriented and able to excel is a fast-paced environment.

·        Ability to work long or irregular campaign hours
