* Field Director Role and Responsibilities*
 

 
*Recruitment, Hiring and Training*

Recruit, hire, train a team of paid organizers
 Spearhead volunteer recruitment activities, ensuring that recruitment goals are achieved throughout the duration of the program
Oversight of house party organization, planning, execution, and follow up
Ensuring the successful training and orientation of all canvassers
 Coordinate recruitment and scheduling of interns 
 Provide volunteers with the positive leadership culture 
Relay all pertinent on-the-ground information and providing timely reports to campaign manager and campaign consultants
Ensure volunteers and organizers maintain accurate and reliable data

 

 
*Experience*
 
2+ cycles of paid field experience
Proficiency with VAN, NGP, or PDI

Oversight of a paid canvass operation is a plus, but not required
 
*Skills*
Strong communication and organizational skills 
Willingness to work long hours and weekends
A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and an ability to relocate as needed
