Campaign Manager - Casten for Congress 

Congressman Sean Casten’s re-election campaign is seeking a motivated, reliable, and passionate leader to run his re-election campaign for 2022. This position will report directly to Sean Casten, and work closely with other senior level members of his team. This district offers a robust and exciting volunteer and donor infrastructure, and opportunities for creative thinking.

Job Description: 

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the campaign, including but not limited to hiring decisions, consultant management, fundraising, budget management, and stakeholder management

• Build relationships with, recruit, train, and manage volunteers, interns, activists, in-district and national stakeholders

• Liaison with press as needed

Qualifications: 

• 2+ cycles of experience preferred

• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to successfully relate to people from a wide range of backgrounds

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meeting frequent deadlines 

• Ability to problem solve effectively and creatively 

• Strong communication and organizational skills, showing attention to detail 

• Goal-orientation and willingness to hold oneself accountable 

• A team orientation that combines collegiality and creativity to drive and motivate others 

• Good sense of humor and ability to adapt to changing needs and program priorities

• On the record experience not required, but preferred 

This job will begin as a remote position, however candidates may be required to move to Illinois closer to the election, dependent on COVID.
