Maya Wiley for Mayor is hiring full time Constituency Liaisons who will develop and leverage relationships in order to directly support voter contact programs that perform targeted outreach to a targeted community across the City.  Constituency Liaisons will report to the Political Director. This is a cycle position and will conclude upon the end of the campaign. There should be no assumption of employment extending beyond the conclusion of the campaign.

Responsibilities include:

• Be an ambassador of the Maya Wiley Campaign for Mayor to key constituencies across the city. 

• Develop and maintain relationships with key local leaders, organizations and volunteers in order to build partnerships that support the Campaign’s organizing efforts

• Plan and execute constituency-focused campaign events

• Other duties as assigned.

*All this work will be conducted in accordance with COVID safety guidelines and will be completed in a safe, healthy, and socially distanced way. 

Qualifications:

• Be organized, highly energetic, and enthusiastic

• Previous experience in campaign, union or constituency organizing preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Exceptional time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment

• High attention to detail

• Be willing and able to work long hours, including nights and weekends

• Be creative and ready to try new things in a digital organizing environment

• Passion for electing Maya Wiley to be the first woman Mayor of New York City

Benefits include health insurance, flexible PTO, and salary is $72K.
