The New Mexico Democratic Senate Caucus is hiring a Caucus Finance Director. 

The Finance Director will be responsible for fundraising for the New Mexico Senate Democratic Caucus as well as managing and training the finance directors and/or campaign managers of caucus targeted campaigns.

Primary Responsibilities:

● Training and assisting finance directors on targeted campaigns.

● Assisting targeted campaigns with their finance plans

● Working with the Caucus Director and Senate Leadership to hit its fundraising goals. 

● Staffing call time with Senate leadership and others.

● Researching current and prospective donors.

● Producing call sheets, tracking and completing necessary follow-up.

● Preparing briefings for donors and events.

● Assisting with organizing and staffing events.

● Other duties as needed by caucus director and Senate leadership. 

Qualifications:

● Strong commitment to protecting and expanding the Democratic majority in the New Mexico Senate. 

● Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

● Minimum one cycle statewide, congressional, or state level campaign finance

work or equivalent experience.

● Experience with NGP and other finance software, and proficiency with Office suite

(Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.), and G Suite (Google Drive, Google Sheets, Gmail, etc.)

● Lives in or willing to relocate to New Mexico for the duration of this campaign cycle.

● Exemplary time management, planning, and organizational skills.

● Detail-oriented and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects.

● Strong written and verbal communication skills.
