Summer Internship with Competitive NoVa Delegate Campaign!

Kathleen Murphy for Delegate is currently accepting applications for our summer internship program! The 34th district will be one of the most competitive campaigns in Northern Virginia and we're fighting to keep this seat blue. 

Learn about the inner workings of a competitive political campaign while effecting meaningful social progress. Interns will be an integral part of a fun and fast-paced team, and will interact directly with the staff and candidate. 

Interns will get an inside look at various aspects of the campaign, including Finance, Field, Communications, Research, Organizing, and Event Planning.  Interns will assist the campaign with staffing events, creating canvass and phone lists, managing and recruiting canvassers and volunteers, organizing mailers, donor research, voter contact, and office tasks. 

The ideal intern is energetic, self-motivated, and responsible. The position is perfect for anyone with a strong interest in politics and government that is looking to make a difference. Preference will be given to candidates who can commit to 15 hours/week but scheduling is flexible. 

This internship is unpaid, but we will work to arrange credit and letters of recommendation. A commitment to electing Democrats is a must, previous campaign experience a plus, but not necessary. Interested candidates should send a resume to in...@murphyfordelegate.com
