VP, Campaigns

Location: Washington DC


As Crowdpac’s VP of campaigns you will be the key player in the aggressive growth of one of the most exciting startups in political technology. We’re seeking a star to join our senior staff who is passionate about recruiting and empowering potential leaders with the technology and tools they need to reach new levels of power for their candidacy, cause, or organization.


In this job, you would lead our campaign sales, political, and customer success teams, bringing your experience and strategic planning abilities to the table in an effort to put successful Crowdpac campaigns on the board in all 50 states. You will build and lead teams and regional networks across the country and be responsible for finding opportunities to convert everyday citizens into crowdfunded leaders on their campus, in their state house, or in Washington D.C.


We’re looking for a high powered and extremely motivated professional with a career of demonstrated success in the sales, fundraising, organizing, or business development space. The ideal candidate will be able to bring to the table both a love of managing teams and a high-value network of leaders and decision makers in the business of making change. The perfect VP of Campaigns will also be a creative force able to motivate a team of campaigners to deftly apply Crowdpac’s value propositions to myriad scenarios generating new and exciting campaigns every day.


Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or fundraising.

  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.

  • Proficiency with sales pipeline or donor management software.

  • A willingness to travel.

  • Deep knowledge of the American political system and marketplace particularly at the state and local levels.  

  • Fluency with modern digital fundraising tools, tactics, and techniques.

  • High-value political networks that you are willing to leverage.

  • The ability to thrive in a highly entrepreneurial environment.

  • Campaign and/or advocacy experience strongly preferred.
