Acosta Consulting is looking for a full time online organizer based in Sacramento or Bay Area who can help manage and monitor social media accounts. This person will help with the execution of various online programs under the direction of a lead online consultant. The ideal candidate would be someone with 1-2 campaigns worth of experience in the online arena, is self-motivated and has strong creative writing skills. Experience with CRMs such as Salsa, content management systems, HTML and Photoshop are a plus.
Timing
For immediate hire through November 30, 2012.
Compensation
Compensation dependent on experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor social media accounts including creation and execution of social media postings.
- Draft online content including some email communications and blog posts, and update site content as needed.
- Manage the delivery process of email blasts and database.
- Communicate and establish relationship with active online supporters.
- Monitor related blogs and sites for prospective content.
- Work with senior online organizing consultant to enhance online program.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with 1-2 campaigns worth of experience in online organizing, communications, social media or mass-email management.
- Self-motivated individual with a passion for education related issues.
- Willingness to work long hours and sometimes take on tedious projects to help campaign achieve goals.
- Superior creative writing skills; ability to write persuasive copy.
- Experience with CRMs such as Salsa, content management systems, HTML and Photoshop are a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish is also a plus but not necessary.
