Mothership Strategies is looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join our growing team.
ABOUT US:
We're experts in email fundraising and online advocacy.
In the 2014 election, our strategists raised over $70 million for Democratic campaigns and committees -- and in total, we have experience raising over $150 million online from grassroots supporters.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating and designing work products for Mothership clients. Such graphics will be used for email marketing, petition sites, advertising, Facebook, Twitter, and campaign websites. The designer will also be tasked with creating and redesigning campaign logos and branding.
REQUIREMENTS
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Brainstorming and designing compelling content for Democratic campaigns across the country.
- Recognizing opportunities where graphic design will increase the likelihood that grassroots activists will take action.
- Working with our team to build graphics for landing pages, and other interactive elements.
- Designing new products including bumper stickers and apparel.
- Other duties as needed.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Portfolio of previous graphic design work.
- History working as a web designer.
- Committed to electing Democrats and Democratic causes at the federal, state, and local levels; political campaign experience is a plus.
- Well-versed in Adobe Creative Suite -- especially Photoshop/Illustrator.
- HTML, CSS, Javascript and front-end development experience is a plus.
- Availability during evening and weekend hours; ability to work under pressure and short deadlines.
