Position Summary:
The Director of Elected Leadership Development (ELD) will serve on the Elected Leadership (EL) team. The Elected Leadership team is responsible for inspiring, developing and supporting our members to effectively pursue elected office as a path to help kids and their community. This position reports to the Senior Director, Elected Leadership Development.
The Director will be responsible for helping to develop and working to execute the strategic plan of the ELD team and will work closely with the Senior DIrector of ELD. This person will focus their efforts on ensuring ELD goals, priorities and the team’s knowledge, skills, and mindsets are strategically developed, executed and implemented. The Director will also support team management and performance across the entire EL team. Qualified candidates will have a clear commitment to our mission and theory of change, as well as a community-driven approach and organizing philosophy. This person must also be able to incorporate the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion concepts of power, privilege, oppression, and liberation into our work with members.
Position Location: Flexible (Denver preferred)
Travel Requirements: 30-40%
