John Hickenlooper is running for President because we are in a crisis of division that is threatening the fabric of our democracy and because he has a proven record of bringing people together to tackle difficult challenges and achieve real progressive change.

The Hickenlooper 2020 campaign is seeking full-time 


Regional Caucus Directors in Iowa for the campaign’s Iowa Caucus program. Regional Caucus Directors will be responsible for executing the statewide caucus plan within their assigned region. Regional Caucus Directors will be a critical element of the caucus program through their effective training and management of field organizers, who will be building and cultivating a large volunteer base. Regional Caucus Directors will also build and maintain political relationships with regional stakeholders and local elected officials. Regional Caucus Directors report to the Iowa Caucus Director. It will be an exciting place to work and there will be opportunity for significant input and responsibility.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and manage a team of organizers through regular training and coaching to ensure region is operating effectively and efficiently

  • Work directly with senior leadership to help implement new trainings and organizing tactics in their region

  • Build political relationships among progressive and Democratic community members and leaders

  • Meet and exceed organizing program goals

  • Perform other duties as needed


What We’re Looking For:

  • 2+ cycles of competitive field experience strongly preferred

  • Commitment to building a strong team culture through training and mutual accountability

  • Strong knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN

  • Access to a reliable laptop, and mobile phone

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven work environment

  • Ability to work independently and in team settings

  • A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and an ability to relocate as needed
