Job Description:
This person will serve as a Coaching Specialist to the Organizing Empowerment Project with an emphasis on
preparing training documents and participating in training webinars with organizations and partners.
Duties Include:
● Assist with scheduling webinars and trainings for prospective and current organizations and partner
organizations.
● Maintain and manage current and prospective partners and organizations in the CRM database.
● Work with other Coaching Specialists to create training materials
● Lead webinar trainings for new organization campaign managers and staff on relational field organizing
techniques, best practices, and software tool usage
● Assist in on-boarding of new organizations and partner organizations
● Assist in creating organization specific relational organizing plans and goals
● Assist in maintaining positive relationships with existing organizations, partners, and funders
● Work with the training and technical support staff when necessary to answer prospective partner
organization questions.
● Work with other OEP to establish a learning community and develop curriculum and training materials.
● Assist in collecting success stories of partners to share with the world.
Successful candidates will meet the following criteria:
● Have a background in political organizing or training.
● Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
● Able to work in a varied work environment with multiple projects in progress at once.
● Proficient in Word, Powerpoint, and Google Suite.
Additional consideration will be given to candidates with any of the following background:
● Have a strong background in Relational Organizing or general field organizing techniques.
● Have interacted with progressive organizations or political campaigns in a professional capacity.
● Previous background working in diverse communities or cultures.
● Previous background with use of database CRM tools (like Raynet, Salesforce, etc.).
● Be fluent in a second language.
Time commitment: This a full time employment position based in Madison, Wisconsin. Offsite working
location may be acceptable under certain conditions for the right candidate.
Compensation: $70,000 a year plus benefits
