Bronx Democratic Municipal Campaign Seeks Field Director

An exciting progressive Bronx Municipal Campaign is seeking a Field Director to build and execute an aggressive field program. 

The successful candidate will be numbers-driven and highly organized, analytical and detail-oriented, and collaborative, able to function well in a high-pressure team environment.

Required Skills/Qualities

·         The ability to train and motivate large community-based volunteer groups

·         Mastery of voter contact programs including VAN and the like

·         Mastery of basic office programs including the Microsoft Office suite, Excel, and file share programs

·         Excellent written and oral communication skills

·         Excellent time management and task organizing skills

·         The ability to solve problems

·         The ability to self-assess

·         Self-motivation and the commitment to see a task through regardless

Responsibilities Include:

·         Conducting or managing grass tops politics

·         Recruiting, training, and managing a paid and volunteer field programs

·         Tracking and reporting progress to goal in real time

·         Delivering program assessments and recommending strategic adjustments as needed
