Grassroots Campaigns is seeking a National Recruitment Director to take charge in building up the staff needed to run large and successful campaigns to win critically important local and national elections, and to exceed ambitious fundraising goals for our partner groups. As our country faces the threat of climate change, increasing social injustice, and the rise of right wing extremists running for high office, our goal is to have 90 campaign offices open across the country, sending out 2500 activists per day by Election Day in November. In order to hit this goal of 90 offices, the National Recruitment Director will need to recruit, hire and develop the next generation of talented organizers and activists to manage these campaigns.
Through developing and implementing the strategy and approach to recruiting new staff, the National Recruitment Director has the ability to exponentially increase the impact that we can have on local and national politics. Depending on the time of year, the Recruitment Director will manage 3-25 staff, who will work both remotely and locally, to meet weekly, monthly and yearly growth goals. The National Recruitment Director will allow us to meet our organizational goals of 90+ field offices. He or she will join our Senior Leadership team and report to our Managing Director.
Qualifications: Three or more years of management experience preferably in a campaign or project management context. Strong organizational and analytical skills. The National Recruitment Director needs to be strongly motivated to meet big goals and engage the entire staff to focus on organizational expansion.
