Position: Campaign Manager for a Democratic Congressional Campaign
Summary: A congressional campaign in a targeted district is seeking a dynamic and talented Campaign Manager to lead an experienced team and motivated candidate in a 2018 Democratic primary and through the General election.
Duties: The Campaign Manager will work closely with the staff,, candidate, and a national consulting team as we look ahead to a primary and general election in 2018.
This campaign is looking to elect in a dynamic candidate to Congress. Applicants should have 1-3 cycles of previous experience as a Campaign Manager or some combination of Field Director, Finance Director, Political Director, or equivalent experience. The Campaign Manager will be responsible for:
Desired Skills/Experience:
∙ Minimum of two years of related work experience on a political campaign, for a state party, national committee, or civic non-profit organization.
Working with the consulting team to coordinate the campaign strategy and implement the campaign plan.
∙ Manage a seven-figure budget for the cycle
∙ Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including attention to detail.
∙ Ability to work campaign hours in a fast paced, metrics driven work environment.
∙ Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
∙ Willingness to travel throughout the District and out of town as needed to be successful in the position.
∙ Help manage candidate schedule, events and call time
∙ Coordinate endorsement processes and draft questionnaires when necessary
∙ Manager other duties and tasks that arise during the campaign
∙ Nevada ties and experience a plus.
This is a full-time position located Nevada. Applicants must be willing to relocate and be prepared to hit the ground running.
