JWI is seeking an enthusiastic, welcoming, motivated individual to join our Washington, D.C.-based team managing the Young Women’s Leadership Network - our fastest-growing initiative, engaging thousands of professional Jewish women in their 20s and 30s for monthly local events focused on personal and professional enrichment, volunteerism, and philanthropy, as well as several national leadership and advocacy events. Networks are currently operating in Washington, D.C, New York, Denver, Los Angeles, Chicago, and San Francisco. Responsibilities include:

  • Spearhead strategic planning, growth, partnership development, and brand management for the Young Women’s Leadership Network
  • Engage, recruit, train, and manage relationships with local board members in Washington D.C., New York, Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, and San Francisco
  • Work collaboratively with Network board members to plan and execute 75+ programs annually
  • Organize and create marketing strategies for the Network’s annual large-scale events, including the Young Women’s Leadership Conference, National Board Retreat, and Young Women’s Advocacy Day
  • Execute the launch of new Networks, including community research, engaging community leaders, and strategizing outreach and marketing
  • Manage JWI’s Mentorship Program, connecting Network members to leaders and role models in a variety of industries nationwide
  • Oversee the Network Coordinator in creation of engaging social media content and campaigns for the Young Women’s Leadership Network on all platforms
  • Support the organization’s leadership in writing grant proposals and seeking out new opportunities for funding
  • Work with the development team on membership engagement
  • Represent the Network at community events
  • Create innovative strategies for Network engagement
  • Facilitate volunteer/ committee retention
  • Oversee annual and event-specific budgets
