Do you believe in the power of a well-told story to catalyze massive impact? Do you believe that communications leaders are critical agents of change? Are you looking to shape and share the story of a movement that is transforming children’s lives and education across the New Jersey? Then you should take a look at the Parents for Great Camden Schools.
Our PGCS office is the newest chapter in how Camden parents are committed toward uniting to transform public education from the ground up. We are building a statewide network of parents, community leaders elected and appointed officials by supporting local communities to lead the change. Our local team, parent leaders and network of partners are united in our mission to eliminate the achievement gap in our lifetime.
Effective and creative communications are a critical driver of PGCS’s impact. From developing strategies that drive student recruiting to producing videos that engage key audiences to publishing inspiring stories on our blog, our communications team works across the organization to build a powerful, authentic, and magnetic brand.
We are seeking a proven Communications Manager to take our story, our brand, and our communications savvy to the next level. We are looking for a versatile communications professional. A Swiss-army knife like talent who can write, design, and produce breakthrough work. At your core, you take an audience-centered approach to all your projects and you are as creative in your thinking as you are in execution.
