Top Tier Red to Blue Finance Position

This position is for a Red to Blue Congressional race in November 2018. The position will begin around July 1^st, 2017. The position has the opportunity for the ability to move into the Finance Director role if the staffer's performance and knowledge is proven. 

 

Finance duties will include:

• ·         Staffing candidate during call time and meetings
  
• ·         Donor research and mining
  
• ·         Assisting campaign manager in execution of finance plan
  
• ·         Aiding campaign team in setting up fundraisers and donor meetings
  
• ·         Miscellaneous campaign tasks
  

 

The ideal applicant will have:

• ·         A commitment to Democratic politics
  
• ·         Campaign finance experience
  
• ·         High level writing ability
  
• ·         The ability to work long and weekend hours
  
• ·         The ability to relocate to Virginia for the remainder of the campaign
  
• ·         A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
  

 

Preferable candidates will have:

• ·         Experience with NGP, VAN, and Microsoft operating suite
  
• ·         Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and quickly change focus
  
• ·         High organizational ability
  
• ·         Virginia ties
