The BVM is seeking a National Field Director who will be responsible for building comprehensive campaigns
through approximately 11 states, supervising an equivalent number of BVM State Coordinators in the process.
This person will be responsible for implementing BVM’s approach towards mobilizing voters as well as BVM’s
broader objective of advocating for racial justice and building power by centering Black love, Black culture and
Black joy. The person who takes on this role will have a knack for creating strong systems, reinforcing the training
curriculum, coordinating special events and monitoring and tracking progress to target goals. This person will be
comfortable learning a combination of web-based tools and creating various modules to enable the larger field
team to meet daily, weekly and monthly goals throughout the program year. This position will also be the lead
liaison on a variety of national and regional partnerships.
