Member of the VA House Democratic Leadership Team seeks finance staffer

Member of the Virginia House Democratic Leadership Team seeks a finance staffer to implement an aggressive fundraising plan that is geared toward both the member's reelection and raising money to assist targeted candidates in challenger seats (Virginia has 17 seats won by Hillary Clinton held by Republicans that already have Democrats in the race). This is a great way to be part of the exciting year we are going to have in Virginia during the 2017 elections with a candidate who is able and willing to do the work to get other Democrats elected. 

This position will staff the principal for call time and fundraising meetings, work with campaign staff to develop the fundraising plan, help keep accurate records in NGP, and coordinate donor prospecting and research. 

We are looking for someone to be based in or be able to reasonably commute to the Northern Virginia region. One cycle of finance experienced preferred. Experience with NGP and ActBlue a plus. Must have access to reliable transportation and have a valid driver's license. Looking for a team player who wants to get more Democrats elected. Position runs through November 15, 2017 with potential for a contract extension.
