Michelle Mullet, a progressive activist and mother is running for State Representative in Massachusetts against an entrenched Republican in leadership. Michelle’s campaign is focused on environmental protection, fighting for marginalized communities, and standing up for the oft-ignored working people of the district. 

 


This is a great opportunity for an upcoming or recent graduate. 


 

For the first few months this position will be fundraising-centric. Candidates with fundraising experience strongly preferred.

  


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

 

  • Donor research and running call time with candidate 

  • Mobilize and recruit volunteers to meet voter contact goals and signature drives

  • Manage the candidate’s schedule and staff her at events

  • Recruiting and managing other staff members, and designing and implementing a fellowship program

  • Writing and executing campaign communications in earned and paid media

  • Managing voter contact based events, and preparing corresponding materials

  • Working with campaign consultants to design and execute campaign strategy

  • Managing a robust house party schedule

  • Political and Stakeholder outreach


Qualifications

 

  • Some experience in local politics (1 cycle as staff preferred) 

  • Experience in fundraising 

  • Willingness to work standard campaign hours (nights/weekends, long hours, etc.)

  • Sense of humor



Right now, this is a part time position. As time goes on the role will evolve into a full time position
