Progressive voter contact firm located in Washington, D.C., is seeking Field Directors for the 2016 election cycle.
Responsibilities may include:
- Developing field planning timelines and resource allocation
- Managing two to ten field staff
- Building and maintaining target universes in VAN
- Preparing nightly reports for senior campaign staff and clients
- Recruiting and training field organizers and canvassers
- Overseeing quality control programs including data entry
- Serving as point of contact for campaign with local political leaders
Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Self-motivation and commitment to progressive causes
- Willingness to relocate (travel and accommodations will be provided)
- Excellent personal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to work quickly and cooperatively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proven success at managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Willingness to work campaign hours
