Social Media Fundraising Associate | Momentum Campaigns

Momentum Campaigns is a boutique digital fundraising agency based in Washington, D.C. We grow and expand digital operations for Democratic campaigns and organizations to propel fundraising programs forward! We were founded on the idea that strong, strategic multi-channel grassroots fundraising is what propels campaigns to victory, and we’re here to drive that.

We’re looking for a Social Media Fundraising Associate to join our groundbreaking social media fundraising team. This is not a traditional social media content position. The Social Media Fundraising Associate will help support our Democratic clients to optimize organic fundraising via social media channels. 


Responsibilities

  • Write fundraising content for social media fundraising

  • Optimize ActBlue pages, branding, & social shares

  • Create ActBlue fundraising links for all social fundraising posts

  • Create, monitor, and analyze A/B ActBlue test results to drive social fundraising

  • Participate in social planning for clients

  • Work with Director of Social Media to drive rapid response content

  • Strategize direct to camera content & produce video scripts 


Desired Qualifications

  • At least one cycle of experience as part of a digital team on a political campaign, at a political organization, or a political firm.

  • Fluency with ActBlue and A/B testing

  • Experience running candidate social accounts with an emphasis on Twitter

  • Campaign fundraising experience preferred, but not required

Salary is $50,000 annually, a health care stipend, and a generous benefits package. This position will be a remote position for the duration of the COVID-19 pandemic.
