Iowa Democratic Party is Hiring Organizers

The Iowa Democratic Party is seeking Field Organizers to manage party outreach, growth, and programs within their turf. Field Organizers will work under the direction of their respective District Organizer. 

 Duties Include:

 • Building relationships with county party officers and local activists. 

• Recruit and manage volunteers for events and voter contact. • Organizing neighborhood teams to build relationships with voters and reach voter contact goals. 

 Requirements: 

• At least one cycle of campaign experience, as an organizer, fellow, or intern. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment 

• Knowledge of Votebuilder, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office 

• Travel and reliable vehicle is required
