Greenpeace is looking for a talented, driven individual to join our Grassroots Organizing Department in the role of National Activist Network Director.
The National Activist Network Director leads a team that provides grassroots power to win hard-hitting campaign victories; builds Greenpeace’s national profile; identifies, activates, and trains a diverse constituency for Greenpeace in the US; and helps build the next generation of leaders and activists in the environmental movement.
Greenpeace has developed a nationwide network of remotely organized volunteer activists who play an instrumental role in our high-impact and fast-growing grassroots organizing program. The Network team identifies, develops and supports student and community leaders who commit to work on Greenpeace campaigns throughout the year.
The best candidate for this position will be an ambitious, creative thinker; a strategic campaigner planner, seasoned manager; an experienced organizer with both online and offline skills; a great listener, and someone willing to get his or her hands dirty to help with the day-to-day needs of the program.
