Orange County congressional campaign in looking for Field Organizers in a highly competitive Southern California race featuring several Democrats and an incumbent GOP member of Congress. Field Organizers are responsible for recruiting, training, and managing volunteers and interns on a daily basis. Direct voter contact activities, community engagement, events and some candidate staffing will also be part of Organizer's responsibilities. 


Responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting, training, and organizing volunteers
  • Participating in the field program to persuade voters in the district
  • Representing the campaign at outreach events and community club meetings
  • Meeting weekly contact goals

This position is extremely goal and metric oriented, while the ability to speak with and train people both one-on-one and in groups is essential as well.


The ideal applicant has the following:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Willingness to work long and irregular hours, including weekends
  • Experience on a political campaign or community organizing is preferred but not required

Applicants must have:

  • A driver’s license and access to a reliable car
  • A working cell phone and laptop

Applicants must also be located in or willing to relocate to Southern California.
