A targeted East Coast statewide race seeks a Finance Director. Please see job description below.

 

Finance Director Responsibilities:

·       Create and execute finance plan through 2017 cycle

·       Develop call time programs and oversee candidates staff

·      Oversee donor prospecting and research

·      Execute low and high dollar events program

·      Manage call time manager, finance assistants and finance interns

·      Oversee the online fundraising, email and direct mail programs. 

·      Work with and supervise national consulting team and ensure local PAC requests are being made.

·      Work with compliance consultant to ensure all reporting deadlines are met.

 

 

Finance Director Qualifications:

 

·      Previous finance/fundraising experience required. This is not an entry level position.

·      Ability to work long hours including nights and weekends on a regular basis

·      A true self-starter who is a detail-oriented team player

·      Highly organized and ability to multitask in a fast-paced campaign environment

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·      Ability to manage a lot of projects simultaneously and cheerfully

·      Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel especially) required

·      Access to reliable transportation required

·      Knowledge of NGP or other database type software preferred

·      Previous experience working directly with candidate or principal is required
