DIGITAL MEDIA COORDINATOR
The Office of U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill is seeking a Digital Media Coordinator to join an aggressive and busy press shop. The ideal candidate will be creative, highly organized, capable of juggling multiple assignments under tight deadlines, and will have strong writing and interpersonal skills. Duties will include: managing the office’s online presence (including website and social media accounts), creating web graphics, taking event photos, editing web videos, designing and executing digital media campaigns, drafting and distributing (as well as tracking analytics for) email actions, managing and growing the office email lists, assisting in planning earned media events, staffing hearings and press conferences, and managing requests from digital media outlets. Capitol Hill or campaign experience preferred but not required. Missouri ties and experience writing digital content are a plus. The position is based in Washington, D.C. and reports to the Communications Director.
