Jesse is a 4th-generation Marylander, Army Ranger, business problem-solver, proud member of a bipartisan marriage, and father to a newborn.

The candidate must be located in or willing to relocate to the district for the duration of the campaign. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 cycles of experience as a field organizer, is a self-starter, and enthusiastic about growing professionally in political campaigns. 

 

Responsibilities

Facilitate volunteer recruitment activities and ensure that recruitment goals are met or exceeded

Recruit, train, and deploy teams of volunteers in several counties at once. Will be responsible for collecting reports and maintaining consistent communications with their volunteer teams. 

Ensure successful training and management of all volunteers 

Ensure volunteers maintain accurate and reliable data

Provide daily quantitative and qualitative reports

Meet personal voter contact goals in pursuit of larger objectives. 

 

Qualifications: 

Willingness to work nights and weekends

Willingness to go above and beyond

Strong sense of humor

Keen interest in Democratic politics and willingness to learn and grow 

Strong oral and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal capacity

Meticulous attention to detail 

Familiarity with Google Docs and Microsoft Office tools 

Strong public presence and confident interpersonal style 

Access to a laptop and car 

Familiarity with VAN
