Job Description:

 

The Software Developer shall be technically proficient and experienced in the

following areas:

a) Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and 2013 Development Environment

b) 2 to 3 years of experience in developing applications, web-services,

reusable components using Microsoft ASP.Net with C#.

d) 1 to 2 years of experience in developing web applications and stored

procedures with Oracle PL/SQL

The Software Developer should have experience in developing and maintaining

information system in higher education institute domain to effectively carry out

assigned tasks.

The general work scope of the Software Developer shall include but is not

limited to the following areas :

a) Enhancements (changed requirements)

b) Maintenance (troubleshooting, defect fixing)

c) Development (new requirements)

d) Testing

e) Support

f) Analysis and proposal

2.13 The minimum required attributes of the Software Developer are :

a) Possess initiative in analyzing problems & recommending solutions

b) Meticulous to deliver quality work

c) Able to meet designated deadline

d) Positive work attitude

e) Independent

f) Resourceful

g) Responsible

h) Good communication skills – written & verbal English
