Client location : Singapore Position : Mobile Automation Developer Job Description As a specialist in mobile automation, should understand the current automation systems and infrastructure to design and build solutions for mobile application automation. Candidate should have extensive experience in mobile automation and should be well versed with the challenges and trends thereof. Build mobile based solutions to integrate and communicate with automation assets for mobile/desktop applications. Decipher open-source automation tools, customize it as per automation needs of applications in VISA. Desired Skills and Experience -Strong analytical and problem solving skills -At least 6-8 years excellent programming skills in Java, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS, HTML, JQuery -At least 2 years of Mobile application design and development experience in both iOS and Android -Must have experience in iOS development, Objective-C, Cocoa, and Xcode, Android development -At least 2-3 years of automation of various mobile applications (including native, web and hybrid) experience using Appium, Experitest and other Mobile Automation tools. -Worked on open-source automation tools like Robotium, Monkeytalk, Selenium Android Driver, Calabash -Should be an expert in automating various kinds of UI widgets/actions used in mobile applications. -Worked on automating standalone & browser based application with knowledge on Object Model of app & browsers across all mobile platforms -Mobile UI Design and development with latest UI technologies -Should have experience integrating mobile automation with ‘devices on clouds’ (public and private) providers for e.g. Device Anywhere, Perfecto Mobile, Experitest, Testdroid etc. -Experience of developing mobile banking applications would be desired -Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Development necessary -Nice to have C, C++ programming experience -Experience with OpenGL, XML, and web service technology -Nice to have experience in Perl/Python, Ruby -Understanding and working experience in distributed, multi-tier application development -Demonstrated experience in the areas of UX and UI design, patterns and behavior in desktop, tablet and mobile environments -Should have a deep understanding of OS level concepts for e.g. process, memory and object management of different mobile platforms -Experience of collaborating in an Agile development environment with minimal supervision -Must be a self-driven, motivated, team player with good work ethics, who is aware of the latest technologies and developments in mobile automation and incorporates them in the solution wherever appropriate.
