Compensation: $5,000 to $7,000 / month with healthcare and benefits. 8 weeks of severance post-campaign.

About the Campaign: 

Natasha Hill is running for Washington’s 5th Congressional District against Cathy McMorris Rodgers. Natasha is a 4th generation Spokanite who is a community leader, attorney, and mother to two children. Natasha knows that public service starts with community and that the investments we make now are vital to setting the tone for the generations that come after us.

About the Role: 

We are looking for a Finance Director who has worked on at least one competitive red-to-blue race before, or on a competitive statewide election. You will be building a national events program, staffing up your finance team with at least one deputy - possibly two, and working closely with what will be an exceptionally talented in-house digital team and several consultants.

In the interim, while we staff up your team, you will be managing Call Time, building out fundraising events regionally, and working with the Senior Advisor for Communications / General Consultant to develop the Finance Plan.

Qualifications (Required) 

  • At least 3 cycles of experience in politics with progressively increasing responsibilities, including one as a Finance Director with an over $3,000,000 raise
  • Pain-staking attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills 
  • Proven ability to engage with communities outside of their own and commitment to creating a more inclusive and representative society, aligned with Democratic and progressive values 
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills 
  • Willingness to work odd hours when necessary, including but not limited to evenings and weekends 
  • A sense of humor, humility, and a strong work ethic 
  • A willingness to learn new skills or previous experience with: Adobe Suite, Canva, Votebuilder/VAN, NGP, Google Sheets/Excel 
  • Willingness to print things out and adapt to different working styles
