Job Title: Azure Data Engineer (with Data Modeling & PySpark)

Location: Weehawken, NJ 07086

Experience Required: 8–10 years

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong expertise in data modeling, PySpark, and Azure Databricks. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in data engineering, hands-on experience building data models from scratch, and exposure to financial/banking domains.

Must-Have Skills

Azure Databricks
Data Modeling (OLTP/OLAP)
Python & PySpark
Data Warehousing experience
PL/SQL & Oracle (or equivalent database)
UNIX Shell or Perl scripting
Strong understanding of Data Engineering concepts
Knowledge of Java OOP concepts (or any equivalent language)

Nice-to-Have Skills

Prior experience in Financial/Banking IT (Knowledge of financial products)
Experience with MS SSIS/SSAS

Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile client-facing environment
Design and develop end-to-end data engineering solutions using Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Data Warehousing tools
