Job Title: ServiceNow Architect – Telecommunications Network Inventory (TNI)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Architect with in-depth expertise in Telecommunications Network Inventory (TNI) to design, implement, and optimize ServiceNow solutions for managing complex telecom network assets and services. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between ServiceNow’s ITSM/ITOM capabilities and telecom-specific inventory management systems, ensuring seamless integration, automation, and visibility across the network landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architecture & Design

    • Define and implement ServiceNow architectural solutions that integrate with TNI and related OSS/BSS systems.

    • Design scalable and secure ServiceNow data models for telecom network assets, services, and configuration items (CIs).

    • Develop CMDB strategies tailored to telecom environments, including logical, physical, and virtual network layers.

  • Integration & Customization

    • Lead the integration of ServiceNow with TNI platforms, NMS (Network Management Systems), and other OSS/BSS tools.

    • Configure and extend ServiceNow ITOM, ITSM, and CSM modules to support telecom inventory use cases.

    • Leverage ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB capabilities for automated network asset detection and synchronization.

  • Governance & Best Practices

    • Establish CMDB governance, data quality controls, and lifecycle management standards for telecom assets.

    • Define best practices for service modeling, dependency mapping, and inventory reconciliation.

    • Provide guidance on ServiceNow platform performance, security, and scalability.

  • Collaboration & Leadership

    • Partner with network engineering, OSS/BSS, and ITSM teams to align architecture with operational needs.

    • Lead technical workshops, design sessions, and roadmap planning for ServiceNow-TNI initiatives.

    • Mentor developers and administrators on ServiceNow best practices and TNI integrations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 8+ years of ServiceNow experience, with at least 3 years in a Solution Architect or Lead Developer role.

  • Proven experience integrating ServiceNow with Telecommunications Network Inventory (TNI) or similar OSS platforms.

  • Strong understanding of telecom network architecture (RAN, Core, Transmission, IP/MPLS, Fiber, etc.).

  • Expertise in ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, ITOM, and IntegrationHub.

  • Familiarity with APIs (REST/SOAP), MID Server, and data synchronization patterns for large-scale networks.

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS – ITOM, ITSM, or CMDB) preferred.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business solutions.
