Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Mobile SME / Lead Mobile Developer to lead our mobile development efforts. The ideal candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing architectural direction, coding expertise, and leadership across mobile initiatives on both iOS and Android platforms.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the full mobile application development lifecycle: architecture, development, testing, deployment, and support.
· Serve as the mobile technology SME, guiding both onshore and offshore teams.
· Design scalable and maintainable applications using frameworks like React Native, Swift, Kotlin, or Flutter, based on project needs.
· Perform rigorous code reviews ensuring performance, security, and adherence to best practices.
· Actively contribute to the codebase: develop core features, resolve complex issues, and enhance performance.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Backend Developers, and QA Engineers.
· Establish and enforce mobile architecture standards, reusable components, and design patterns.
· Mentor junior mobile developers to elevate team capability and velocity.
· Stay updated on mobile tech trends and bring innovative solutions to the table.
· Lead performance tuning, troubleshooting, and platform-specific optimization (iOS & Android).
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
· 8+ years of experience in mobile application development.
· Strong experience with React Native, Kotlin, Swift, or Flutter.
· Proven experience in leading development teams and setting architectural direction.
· Deep understanding of mobile app lifecycle, REST APIs, security best practices, and App Store/Google Play deployment processes.
· Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience working in hybrid teams across multiple time zones.
· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Firebase, crash reporting, and analytics tools.
· Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.
