You'll lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and cloud-native solutions for U.S.-based banking, fintech, and insurance clients. The deal candidate brings strong hands-on coding skills, architectural leadership, and a proven track record in financial services technology.
Key Responsibilities:- Architecture & Solution Design
- Architect end-to-end solutions for enterprise BFSI applications using Java 11+/17, Spring Boot, and cloud-native microservices.
- Design and maintain robust, high-availability systems that meet performance and security standards in line with U.S. banking and insurance regulations (e.g., FFIEC, FDIC, SOX).
- Own technical design documents, high-level solution architecture, and integration blueprints.
Microservices & Spring Boot Engineering
- Develop and lead the implementation of RESTful APIs, event-driven microservices, and API Gateway layers using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
- Build modular, containerized services deployed via Docker and Kubernetes (Openshift/EKS/GKE/AKS).
- Establish CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies to accelerate release cycles.
Cloud & DevOps Integration
- Architect and deploy systems on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, leveraging managed services like S3, Lambda, SQS, RDS, and API Gateway.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing using tools such as ELK/EFK, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
-Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Cloudformation) and secure deployment practices
BFSI Industry Collaboration
- Partner with business analysts and product managers to align architecture with digital banking, lending, insurance underwriting, and payment processing use cases.
- Integrate with third-party platforms: Plaid, Zelle, Stripe, Experian, FICO, and core banking systems (e.g., FIS, Temenos, Finacle).
- Ensure solutions comply with U.S. data privacy laws (GLBA, CCPA) and security mandates (PCI DSS, SOC 2).
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional experience in enterprise Java development and architecture.
- 5+ years of experience in the BFSI domain (banking, financial services, insurance, or fintech).
- Deep hands-on expertise in Java (8-17), Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and REST API development.
- Strong understanding of microservices patterns, circuit breakers, service discovery, and asynchronous messaging.
- Solid experience with relational (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with U.S. payment networks (ACH, FedNow, SWIFT, RTP).
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks like SOX, FFIEC, SOC 2, and PCI DSS.
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, Oracle Certified Java Architect, or CKAD.
- Previous work in U.S.-based enterprise architecture roles or for BFSI clients/partners.
