​Skills needed: Strong SQL Server DBA/Architect, Cloud, high availability network experience, database design, data migration experience, optimization, database administration

​Job Description​:

We are looking for a ​SQL Server ​Database Architect to design, develop, and implement infrastructure to provide highly complex, reliable, and scalable databases that meet our organization's objectives and requirements. 

​Required ​Skills:

• ​1​4+ years of SQL Server administration experience

• Expert knowledge of SQL Server 2019/2022

• Advanced T-SQL programming (stored procedures, functions, triggers, views)

• Proficiency in database design and normalization (1NF through 5NF)

• High availability and disaster recovery expertise (e.g., Always On Availability Groups, clustering, replication)

• Performance tuning and optimization (query tuning, index optimization, execution plan analysis)

• Cloud database experience (3+ years with AWS RDS for SQL Server or Azure SQL)

• Experience with large-scale data migrations (500GB+), including ETL tools (SSIS, Azure Data Factory, AWS DMS)

• Scripting and automation experience (PowerShell, T-SQL, CI/CD for database deployments)

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Experience in high-transaction environments (50K+ daily transactions)

• Led or participated in database modernization projects

• Experience with mission-critical systems requiring 99.9% uptime

Preferred ​Skills​:

• Extensive knowledge of various database systems and hands-on experience with all phases of database design and management

• Experience in various technologies and roles including database systems of any type and size
